Default Life of Pi

Real quick!
Just got back from the Premiere Of Life of Pi( with presenter Ang Lee and cast) it was Amazing can't wait for the Blu ray...visually it is something special! Saw it in 3D but it didn't really need it. If I had to sum it up quick... I would say it has the feel of Cast away but with action and some ruff stuff too! A really beautiful film with something to say. Do yourself a fav and check it out when it comes out in Nov.

Thank you for the mini-review!

I was going to post some initial critics reactions of the screenings today but I can never find the threads I search for.

Seems like this is getting really glowing reactions coming out of its first screening today. Very good news as I am very much looking forward to this.

Quick question though, if you had to give it a MPAA rating what would you give it?

Default I'd say a strong PG-13

Nothing gory happens but it realistically depicts what would happen if a tiger, man, zebra, monkey and heyena all had to share the same small space. I mean you can guess who's walking away from that party.

Good to see a positive review, I'm really looking forward to this movie. I'm half way through the book at the moment and I love it so far.
