A game I really want to see

I've had the jones for a REALLY good car chase game for awhile. The first Driver game was badass, and had a lot of promise, but Driver 2 and Driv3r TOTALLY ruined it. There's a discussion of car chases in another thread, and I'm watching The Transporter BD with the sick car chase at the beginning, and I REALLY want a straight up action driving game. Realistic cars and damage, huge maps, crazy jumps and stunts, cinematic replays, a halfway decent storyline . . . I don't care about getting out of the car and finding a bunch of crap, I just want to drive around causing car crashes and making crazy escapes. Is there such a game coming out soon, or is this a lost hope?

I think Driver 2 was the best. And Driver 3 is so underrated. It was a good game but it was so hyped up it turned out crap. But I liked it. And the reply mode made the game. But Driver PL. Wow. What a crap game. They took out stuff from the third one. In the 3rd you could swim, in PL if you go in the warer, the screen goes blank and you appear on the shore. And they also took away the replay mode.
