Onkyo HT-S7200 Thoughts? - Blu-ray Forum

Hey guys!!
Wanted to get some opinions on this HTIB. As of right now, its number 1 for HTIB on Consumer Reports. Its 800 bucks right now on amazon.
Also, can any1 tell me what reciever model comes with this set?
Im hoping its at least the TX-SR607. This set has some good reviews!!

I honestly believe that it's the best HTIB for the money. That being said, don't buy it. Just get a nice receiver and a pair of front speakers for now and work on the theater piece by piece. This question gets asked every week and it's always the same. Take the advice and just go piece by piece.

What receiver do yall recommend to start? As of right now, I have had my sammy theatre system for almost 4 years. It pushes 1200 watts. I have been really happy with it so far. I would like to upgrade to HD Audio now.

Lets do a budget of 450-500 bucks for the receiver and maybe 300-350 bucks for speakers.
