For a 3D Blu-ray player, shouldn't the software standard be hammered out first? And I don't like the idea of them referring to the sets as "3D Blu-ray players". It sounds like a WHOLE NEW standard rather than a forward AND reverse compatible standard for the same old Blu-ray already on the market. I'd rather them just have a new profile number and refer to the players as being that profile. They never got the audio-only 3.0 off the ground, did they?

And compatible TVs are more necessary for this to be possible than anything else. Unless they can do firmware updates for 240 Hz sets that are already available to support LCD shutter glasses. And really, I'm not looking forward to shutter glasses. Really wish they'd push a glasses-less technology to the forefront here.
