Why? Why did I actually watch this movie? You know what it's like? It's like the movie that William Dafoe made in Mr. Bean's Holiday but even more pretentious and with hardcore porn added in.

Basic premise:

A husband and wife are making love. Their child jumps out of a window while they do so. To cope with the loss the two go into the woods for a getaway.

This is a horrible movie. It has full penetration shots. It has scenes that would make Takashi Miike wonder why he didn't do them first.

It's actually not as shocking as you would think, me and my girlfriend saw it this summer.
We weren't really shocked by the scenes, maybe because this movie was so hyped in Europe and all we expected was torture porn AND porn.
That's not the case, there are many other scenes (beautifully shot scenes of the forest, dialogue etc...) that in my mind makes the movie worth watching.
If you can handle a few seconds of full penetration, two disturbing masturbation scenes, watch this movie,
But only if you're a hardcore (no pun intended) & adult (meaning you are over 18 years old

The only "real" thing that happens is the full penetration bit, that only lasts for a few seconds and it's a scene that shows the two leading characters loving each other. We (me and girlfriend) didn't perceive this as hardcore porn, but as a love scene.
I love this movie, the movie affected me long after and I'm still not sure what this is really about.
Although many crititcs and feminists see this as a misogynistic movie and believes the director made the movie to "attack" women, whatever...
I don't care and my girlfriend (who's not a movie geek) didn't either.

All I can say is that we both were frightened by this, and not shocked, this is an eerie movie with weirds thing happening that requires a huge amount of afterthought.
Ok... last word now, this won't make a pervert for seeing this, you will not necessarilly react the same way as mikejet. thank you if you managed to read it all
