That's a pretty ghetto old school looking remote.

Bluetooth alone does not make a Harmony killer.

I agree its not gonna kill it, but it does seem more conveniant/won't eat up a USB port

The Logitech adapter does not use a USB port either.

This will force Harmony to cut the price on the adaptor. Like it really costs all that much to make?

Think about it ? Good $20 sony remote, Better $49 Interlink, Best $60 Logitech adapter, + $99 for remote?

What do you think is going to sell during xmas? Hell, the only problem is that it didn't come out before logitechs alternative so we all bought the better option for lack of a cheaper alternative.

I do not think this will force them to cut the price on the adaptor. Also I know me personally If I was going to buy a remote I would go the harmony way instead of this one.

Nothing kills the Harmony One! I paid 50 bucks for an IR4PS3 and it was completely worth it so that I can use my Harmony One for everything. I'd take the One over the H 1000 or H 1100 any day.

Does this remote have programmabe "Activities" like the Harmony line? If not, then there is no way this will ever be a Harmony killer.

How does everyone like the Harmony One? It's on my Christmas list, as well as the PS3 adapter

I speak for the average joe here.. and the price difference (This Blu-Link being what... $100 cheaper?) is not the only reason people like me would pick up the Blu-Link rather than Harmony. I've looked at the Harmony remotes and they look very complex. This Blu-Link one seems simple and easy to understand much like my Dish DVR remote.

Then again, I'm one of those people that buy things with fewer features simply because I know I will never use all the extra fancy ones. Like all these people with "SmartPhones"... I use my cell phone to call people, period. No photos, e-mails, twitter, internet... it's all wasted when they try and sell me that. I don't use it. So for people like me (average joe) we don't need the fancy Harmony remotes and will stick to what we know like this new Blu-Link. Or just settle for having 3 or 4 remotes lying around. haha

I have the Harmony ONE and the PS3 Adapter. It's the best remote I've ever owned, and it controls everything, and now the wife does not call me at work durring the day to ask me how to get the dvd player working. It's worth every penny and I would suggest not waiting until Christmas if you don't have to.
