To anyone who has bought used from them? Are the blus in good shape and do they come with cases? I'm just curious because some of them are really good deals, and seeing how most of my movie purchases are from the local Newbury Comics, I really don't mind used. Thanks

the ones I bought have been in great shape. I even bought a used one once and it was new. The shipping time is amazing. If you get rental, it might not have the case but it does come with the artwork. Just buy cases if anything.

I have purchased dozens from them. Most have been in excellent condition. Only on 2 occasions have I been dissatisfied (damaged cover art). They refunded me in the first instance and told me to keep it, and I'm presently waiting for a refund on the 2nd one which I returned with prepaid label. They have always come in Blu-Ray cases in my experience, though I've heard of an occasional DVD case for other people.

All of the used blu's I've bought have come in great condition, one was even brand new

I've heard great things about their used blus... and when I get a job and start making more money I may start purchasing some from them.

But that is very rare i have only got one new movie out of more than 15 orders i have had with them. But the quality of there used are still very good.

Their used quality varies from order to order, I myself have had good and bad blus delivered to me from them. Pursuit of Happiness had sticker residue all over the case, but Monsters Inc was brand new. Like, it was still sealed AND it came with a perfect slipcover

Their quality when they first started selling used blu rays was great. As time has gone on the quality has gotten somewhat worse although still overall pretty good. And yes stay away from previously viewed as the quality will be akin to rental blu rays you would find at blockbusters.

Gohastings has some great deals, but their shipping gets pretty outragous when you start building up a shopping cart. There are no deals for buying multiple items. If you can find a working coupon code, it can make it worthwhile. A good coupon code will sometimes take care of most of the shipping. I have never had a problem with any of the used that I have purchased from them.

i have order many items and the issues that i have had they have told me too keep them and refunded my money. Great Store. Always great deals.

The reason of no combined shipping is because the discs that you order ship from different stores and each blu-ray ships in a bubble mailer seperately. I bought about 40 blu-rays from them and 1 was new still sealed. Out of my orders I have had 5 that I had problems with (dvd case, canadian version of a movie etc.) Since Hollywood Video and Movie Gallery have went out of business they will probably be flooded with crap. There are still some deals out there though. And I reused all of the bubble mailers.
