What should I do? Panasonic Viera p50u2

I bought it on nov 22 and today I turned it on and put my daughter some cartoons.. 20 mins after I hear (Pow) and the tv screen died. I'm guessing it's a bulb. I'm a premier best buy member so they are sending someone to fix it tomorrow morning.

Any reason this happen? And what should I do? They said it must be a replacement of bulb. I have another plasma 3 years and still going and is a panny.

There are no bulbs in a plasma.

The credibility of these Best Buy repair folks should seriously be called into question based on that comment.

...I do hope you expect to get a replacement TV...as there is no bulb, and fixing in a single day is probably not possible unless its a fuse or something silly easy to fix...but Id be anticipating a new TV.

Hopefully they are out of that particular model and have to upgrade you?!

I hope too..he comes in the morning , I called Panasonic viera customer service , they were kind of rude but they told me that best buy should fix it and if not replace it with a new one because it's still in my 45 day policy.

So I'll see tomorrow how it goes, I do hope they replace it just in case they fix it and then it blows up again, I'm guessing must be a fuse, it sound it like a firecracker lol..sucks not able to watch my nba games tonight lol

So BB came to my place today and the scan board exploded so they have to order a new part and it will be available for NEXT Saturday lol.

He told me go to the store better and they will get you a new one, sometimes if they don't have your model you might get upgraded so we will see how it goes today
