Default WB transfers?

At 2.5 stars thats pretty bad. Out For Justice would be a good action flick to show off your system, problem is Warner didn't think enough of this title to put much effort into it. Sad because I probably would have picked it up.

Yeah, I just watched this last night. Definitely nothing special. Outdoor street scenes during the day looked real good, as did facial closeups, but the night scenes were pretty drab.

Default No Reservations - another disappointing Warner title

Got "No Reservations" yesterday the picture is ok but a bit soft. The DD5.1audio, however, is really shitty At times I almost thought I was watching VHS.. I'm not sure this is a blu-ray problem or a problem with the movie audio source itself..

Look forward to watching "We own the night" tonight though

It's a pretty cute movie. I disagree with those who say the two leads have no chemistry and I like the girl. It shares several similarities to Ratatouille so if you liked that film, I'd easily recommend this one.

Does Catherine Zeta-Jones ever have chemistry with anyone?

I would like to see the original "Mostly Martha" on Blu-ray. That movie was fantastic.

Only with men old enough to be her father.

I thought it would be better.. An average movie better suited for rental than purchase.

the original German film, "mostly martha" ("no reservations" is a re-make) was a lot better movie. Available on regular DVD.

No, it's not just you...

... there are many others who also have a mistaken view of WB.

Only the IMAX scenes are good. The super35 parts of the film are subpar.

Are you kidding? WB easily has the largest number of crap transfers of the major studios.

LOL. Well-said, and agreed.

With the largest catalogue and the largest output of any major studio, of course they are bound to have a few more stinkers than the rest. But they are still, on the whole, the BEST major studio producing Blu-Rays today.
