Blu-ray Baron

There are a bunch of countries in the world which just have ridiculous shipping prices or it's just hard to order something online from a particular country (Germany, Italy, Hungary, China, South America, Russia, etc.). It would just be nice and simple to have someone bring me that blu-ray from that country when they come visit my country.
Would anyone be supportive of an International Blu-ray Travel Abroad Swap? Meaning, if a forum member is planning to go to another country, that forum member can meet up with another forum member and exchange blu-rays in person (either buy, trade, or pick-up Blu-rays/DVDs)? For example, the thread could look like something like this: Post: I live in New York City planning to go to Moscow, Russia, December 2-13, 2010 If I was that New Yorker, I could: 1. bring a USA Blu-ray to a Moscovite forum member during that time period abroad 2. bring a Russian Blu-ray back to another New Yorker after I got back to NYC Someone interesed would PM each other with phone numbers and meet-up place/date. Is this legal or a good idea? Or is this just a good idea for http://www.meetup.com Last edited by toddly6666; 10-22-2010 at 06:21 PM. |
