April was the placeholder date for Monster Hunter Freedom Unite not the official date. Amazon just didn't get the latest update yet. As for the game mentioned in this thread Atlus also says May 26th so I will take their word for it.

Thanks for the spot, Mamba! I hope I can remember this when it comes out. I have a hard time remembering lesser-known RPGs when I see them. I just hope the story is intriguing. I bought PoPoLoCrois, and though it wasn't a BAD game, I got rather tired of doing the same-old thing "chapter" to "chapter". I just wanted to see how it ended, and I had already played over twenty hours. I was also looking at how old of a game it was, and wasn't really expecting it to be very long. It just felt TOO drawn out. Maybe this game will "take us back to our RPG roots".... I tell you what, though. I really wish Level 5 would start tinkering with PSP RPGs...

I always wanted to try popolocrois but just never got around to doing it. You know that Jeanne D'Arc is a Level 5 game. Granted, you may be looking for something more traditional, but just in case you weren't aware.

Just checked my PSP and I already downloaded the demo of this game in Japanese. In Japan this game is called Garnet Chronicle(or something like that). Japanese version was distributed by Sega.

I don't think I noticed that it was Level 5. Let me reiterate: I want a traditional Level 5 game like Dragon Quest 8, Dark Cloud 1 or 2, Rogue Galaxy. I liked Jeanne D' Arc, though. Not nearly as much as Final Fantasy Tactics or Disgaea (the PSP versions), but it at least held me over until they came out.

Edit: The screenshots finally loaded. I'm in LLLLLLOOOOOOVVVVVE! I used to hate the idea of "hand-drawn" animation in games, but I've grown to love it. The backgrounds look GORGEOUS!

Is that platinum or silver (I'm assuming silver)?

Amen! I love all those Level 5 games you just mentioned. DQ8 got me back into JRPGs after I had sorta lost interest a while back (I've been playing them pretty seriously since back in the Dragon Warrior days).

I will at least agree that it looks like somebody just photoshopped some text on top of that picture. It looked way too much like subtitles. I prefer my old-school RPGs to have boxes around the text. I do like how easy that font is to read, though. Sometimes, particularly on the PSP, words can get blurry. I remember having some problem in Jeanne D' Arc when I played it.

I think this'll be the first PSP game I buy since last August! Unless GoW comes down in price...
