Mixing ohms with amps

Hey guys I just wanted to know if I brought a amp like a 3 channel can I run 8 ohms and a 4 ohm speaker from it at the same time or do I need separate amps? Because I am looking into some speakers I like and they are 4 ohms.

You should be ok. I have been running a 6-channel amplifier with 8 Ohm and 4 Ohm speakers for the past 11 years without a problem.

Vagrant, does the 606 have pre-outs? I do not think it does, and if it doesn't, you won't be able to hook up an external amp to it.......

No but my 606 broke so i am getting a pioneer sc-07 from best buy. well that's my choice for now
