Conection help - Blu-ray Forum

If I have a gaming system that outputs 5.1 Dolby digital and I have it conected to my tv through Hdmi.I have a headset that produces 5.1 digital output does it matter if I run the optical cable from my tv to the headphones?Or should I do it from the game system to the head phones?

You should go straight from the game console to the headphones.
