Mods: I'm posting this separate of the megathread b/c it has turned into a buy and report thread. Any other question is getting swallowed up into the abyss.

Anyone wanna help me out and confirm something for me?

Haven't watched it yet, but I'll keep an eye out for it.

As for spoiler tags, do this:

[*spoiler] text text text [*/spoiler]

Remove the * in each bracket to get it to work properly like this:

[Show spoiler]

It's at around the 2:20:20 or 2:20:21 mark.

If it's a flaw, that kind of thing can really irk me.

I have not seen anything at the bottom or top at the end and I have seen the movie four times sense I bought it last night

Hmm that's concerning. So no bright flashes at the top and bottom of the screen at around the 2:20:20 mark?

I didn't see the flashes on mine either but I'm going to watch it again when I get home from work.

I see the bars but it looks like part of the movie to me. It happens when sparks fly (or whatever). It is sort of like when CGI movies show water or mud get on the "camera lense", just making it look real ... I guess.

It just sounds like a lense flare to me, which Michael Bay films are full off.

Are you talking about the lense flair at 2:20:22? Cuz that's clearly normal, but if you're seeing 2 weird bright flashes then you must have some sort of a defective copy (or maybe even a peice of dust or finger print on it?) cuz they're not there on mine.
