Goonies on ABC Family HD

Now I've seen movies where they dubbed the bad language with something stupid or just take it out but this has to take the cake as far as taking something out.

This is on now on ABC Family HD and I wanted to see if it looked good. Well the part where Chunk goes into Mikey's house to talk about whathe saw the guys make remarks at him about "just like the time you said............" Well the part where they said, "Just like the time Michael Jackson came over to your house to use the bathroom." They took out Michael Jacksons name. WTF! Seriously?!?

Nothing will ever top FX's Snakes On Plane:

I am sick of these monkey fighting snakes on this Monday to Friday plane.

And of course "finding a stranger in the Alps" during The Big Lebowski.

Oh, and for almost two years after 9/11/2001, airings of Back To The Future omiited the terrorist mentions in the film. It just standards and practice's bureaucracy covering its Alps.

If you think that's bad try watching the televised version of The Blues Brothers. First off Belushi had passed away and they had someone who did not sound like him dub in his voice. Second the scene at the beginning when they visit The Penguin just doesn't make any sense when dubbed, you cannot understand why the heck she is slapping them.
Also it was unfunny when they cleaned up Jackie Gleason's language in Smokey And The Bandit. He was the funniest thing in the film and the sanitized dialogue made him unfunny.
