Harry Potter - This year or next? - Blu-ray Forum

I was going to put a pre-order in for Harry Potter 1-6 which comes out Dec 7th. But I keep thinking i've waited this long to buy a single Potter blu ray and if its worth me waiting one more year.

The 7th movie is the last. Problem is I can't think of anything else I want for Xmas viewing at this time. There is a 7th disc which I can discard in favour of the last movie whenever that is released.

Its cheap too considering what people must have spent on the individual releases. Choices choices.

Always for a complete boxset, always.

I bought the first five individually and regret it now, seeing as the artwork on the sixth will be on a grey background and not black like the previous.

The last movie is going to be split into two movies. So that means two more discs and another 2 - 3 years before any complete box set comes out

I'm waiting for the complete boxset before purchasing any of the HP's. There is plenty of other releases to keep me satisfied until they are released.

Do you know the name of the set? I've looked everywhere including amazon, and I can't find it.

I've been seriously considering it. I don't normally get special editions, but I love the HP series (mostly because of the books).

As there will be another movie released in the cinema next year which is the second part of the last book then you are looking at another 2 years for the Complete Boxset on Blu-Ray. If you can wait that long I would say it was definately worth it seen as you have waited this long.

There's another 2 movie coming out, the last book is being split up into 2 movies, so you need to consider that too.

If anyone's going to get this set, I'm just saying that it's like the Fast and the Furious 4 pack; when they've put a couple of films in the same case. So there are 3 cases in this.

Does anyone know the audio specs on the 1-6 box-set? There seems to be precious little information about it.

What with nice pre-order prices on the set, and with an e-voucher for another fiver off the price, the set of six can be had for around £34.

Despite the DC leaflet saying for WM and iTunes, it is not possible to play this film through iTunes!!!! Not happy!
