Default Renting Blu-rays from Blockbuster Online...

does anybody use blockbuster online to rent out their blurays? i just registered for their free trial and noticed that almost all of their blurays have a "short wait" period and are not immediately available. how long does it take for you to get your bluray rentals? does netflix have the same lack of availability of bluray movies?

I actually use Netflix and get my blu-rays within 1 day and this includes new releases as well. Most blu-ray titles that have been released are available for immediate shipping at Netflix.

I recently purchased a ps3 and signed up for netflix because I noticed that blockbuster's blu ray titles always had a wait time on them.
Netflix delivered my first three in one day.
Unfortunately all three that I got (Ice Age, Flyboys & Primevil) didnt work and all had a scratch or very small crack at almost the same exact spot and wouldn't play.

Has anybody else experienced the same issue w/ netflix sending scratch disk? and should this affect the disc that much that it wouldn't play at all?

I switched from Netflix to Blockbuster and back to Netflix. I was attracted by the in store rentals, but their wait times were ridiculous, and some movies (The Running Man, is the only one I remember in particular) they didn't even have! How can you not have The Running Man??!?!! EVERY new release had some sort of wait. So, I switched back to Netflix and haven't regretted it at all. I've received two broken discs which were quickly replaced, so that's a minor complaint.

Did you report these damaged? I just got primevel and it has a small crack on the outside edge and freezes in the menu. Flyboy had the same crack, but played ok.

Yeah I reported it today and they are already shipping the replacement ones. Hopefully I'll have them by tomorrow.
What type of blu ray player to you have? I have a ps3 and even the slightest scratch and it doesn't play the movie at all
