Amazon Black Friday Question - Blu-ray Forum

this is going to be my first ime ordering from amazon on black friday, and i know that they are going to start early on monday, but how is it? do they have really good prices on blu ray movies? better than going to bestbuy? and do all movies get discounted or just certain movies?

it's not going to be all movies, but trust me, it'll probably be alot of movies you want! Last year they had newer releases that dropped down to about 10 bucks. I don't remember everything I ordered, but I do remember Transformers being 10$, and that was kind of a big deal.

I'm sure there will be some kind of advertising around their sale in the next week leading up to DATG. Last year I was ordering on amazon at 1 or 2am for their "Early Bird" prices. I'll be doing the same this year.

Currently holding off buying Star Trek(2009), Fight Club, and GI Joe hoping for a good black friday price.

hope they drop some to $10 on preorders like Harry Potter and Inglorious Basters, and District 9 because Wally world already has them below $19 for preorder

Anything is possible. Personally, I could care less about Waterboy, and I don't watch Blood Diamond enough to upgrade it from DVD.

Eh..You really think they'll have a deal on Star Trek? Maybe $15 but I doubt it would be any lower than that.

IIRC the prices were not stable for the entire day. Anyone else remember this? They would go up and down.

I can see there a lots of cheap BD's right now but where do I find a list of them? For example Spaceballs and Silence of the Lambs are now $8.99 but can't find a list of all the deals

not to mention speed, entrapment all of which were 34.99 for the longest early on.
