They have announced that the HDMI 1.4 spec has 4k support and lossless/ uncompressed audio capability.
They have not changed the connector since it was spec 1.0 I assume. It has not gotten any bigger to help with the transmission of data. Forgive my ignorance but how are they able to send so much data through such a small cable |
