The flat lighting in the shots from the film make it look super low budget. No supplemental content at all on the disc? I'll never understand why smaller / low budget films do that, when I have a hard time believing they couldn't afford to rope in Z-grade actors and crew to do a commentary or contribute some interview clips.

It is a very low budget.

It's the distributors decision not to include bonus features, even what they have free access to like behind the scenes and interviews shot by the production and delivered along with the feature when they licence it.

Sony actually used to record audio commentaries for DTVs in the early 2000s (Anthony Hickox on STORM CATCHER, JILL THE RIPPER, Damian Lee on AGENT RED in Dolph Lundgren's case) and then they stopped, probably due to the belief that supplementary materials don't sell more discs. Sometimes they give in a strong-headed director like John Hyams pushes for a commentary and in-depth making of documentary (UNIVERSAL SOLDIER: DAY OF RECKONING).

I might get this for cheap though i like Mike Mendez loved the demon flick he did a few years back a little cheesy but yet fun overall.

This is Ivan Drago goes Braindead. Funny and grotesquely brilliant, Mendez crafts a potential franchise with limitless possibilities for Lundgren’s demon hunter to get involved in. Here’s hoping the film is successful enough to do so.
