A Lonely Place To Die Blu-ray Review

Did anyone catch this in cinemas this month?

It's one of the best films I've seen all year!

The director has stated there will be a 90 minute making of - I can't wait!

Caught it a few weeks ago as a free screening. Was decent, but I would never buy it.

Is it safe to assume this will be Region Free (judging from Kaleidoscope's release history is has been)?

Does anyone know if the Blu-ray is 1080p. The last Kaleidoscope release I bought was a shoddy 1080i so I returned it. This movie has to have 1080p.

[Update] To answer my own question - It is 1080p, and has a 70 minute docu and a commentary. So I'll be buying it.

I can confirm it is 1080p and the transfer is incredible.

I am not sure offhand, but when I receive my copy next week, I would be happy to test it for you to confirm if it is or not.

My copy arrived today. I'll test it this evening and report back if it is Region Free or not.

This title is confirmed Region Free. It booted up in A, B, & C and worked perfectly.

This is only £8.99 in my local Sainsburys, not sure if it's UK wide or not?

I think it will be coming out March 20 in the US. Though the listing says DVD, the pic is blu ray and there is another DVD listing which is the cheaper $17.49 price. So I believe this listing for $20.99 will be the blu ray, so I think it's just a mislabel at this point.

I should be getting my import early next week (glad I got it before the price went up). Adrock, does the menu play with no problem as well on Region A player...on another site the guy said the feature plays fine but the menu was PAL, though maybe it was just his player

Most importantly, how was the movie?
