Eastbound and Down Might Be The Only DVD I Buy... - Blu-ray Forum

Okay, so I gotta make up my Christmas List for the wife and I am avidly against buying DVDs anymore... but I ABSOLUTELY LOVED Eastbound and Down and its gonna be like 10bucks tommorow, so should I get this on DVD or does anyone know of plans for a BLU release?

I have heard nothing. HBO sucks when it comes to their shows on Blu. They have what like 5 shows on Blu and not even all of the seasons. The Sopranos, True Blood, Band of Brothers and John Adams. What else am i missing?

Either way, Eastbound and Down will be a day 1 for me when the Blu does drop.

Best Buy has it for $9.99 on their website. I am considering just skipping going to BB tomorrow and ordering it off the website.

For $10 I'd just pull the trigger, rather than waiting for a possible blu release. One of my favorite all time series. Wish they would do another season!

Damn I didnt know this was coming out, and only on DVD that sucks. Might grab it but I am also hoping for a blu release. I just bought my first dvd in over a year, Kenny Vs Spenny season 5 as its only on dvd.

Well I heard they got cleared for a new season awhile back but haven't heard anything since then. Ya, she ordered it... well she asked me 10 questions about Amazon, then said she didnt get it so...

I decided to go to the store instead of ordering it and they had 1 copy left. I also picked up X-Men Origins: Wolverine on Blu-ray for $10.
