Why all movie reviews here are way too loooong to read - Blu-ray Forum

I bet nobody going to take all the time to read 2, 3 pages long. I usually glance it quickly or just read the most important part.

Why not put it short, simplify,

I like reading the reviews even though sometimes they are lengthy. I'll admit I don't read all the way through on every title, but I do on those that interest me.

I'd much rather have too much as opposed to too little.

And as John said, I may not read every review in its entirety, but the ones that I am really interested in, I'm glad that it is there.

I really like how the reviewers, reviews movies on this site.

The actual review is broken down into 6 parts

1)A little background on the movie
2)A brief synopsis of the movie
3)The reviewer thoughts on the movie
4)PQ
5)AQ
6)Special features

Not a lot of sites out there give you 1 and 3 and its the personal touch that makes a review worthwhile.

Can't get better than that...

You can read the entire review or scan it thru.
For the movies that I am interested in, I read the entire review..

I feel it is very important to get a comprehensive analysis of a movie so I have a good idea what I'm in for, and I for one am glad the reviews are as in depth as they are. If I want a summary, I'll look on IMDB.

If you want a summary, you can always just read the final thoughts of each review

I think the rest of us would prefer the entire package (at least I would).

I think it is great that the reviewers take their time to write very thorough and in-depth reviews/critiques of film the large majority of the time. Especially if it is for a movie I like, then I love reading them.

I hope they keep doing things the same as they do now.

For a real condensed thought on the movie, just read the Final Words section.

I'm just glad people take the time to do well thought out reviews for us, instead of trying to rush through it and 'get it done'.
