Yup was confirmed almost a month ago. But I think it's kind of odd that it'll be on 360. All Cyber Connect 2 Naruto games have always been Playstation and always thought that the Ubisoft ones were the Xbox games, the ones released by Tomy would be for Nintendo, and the Cyber Connect 2 would be Playstation because of that pattern those 3 companies were doing it was going when the 1st Ultimate Ninja Storm came out. Since the 1st Ultimate Ninja Storm is a PS3 exclusive that'll mean the 360 owners would have to buy a PS3 to play the 1st game in the Ultimate Ninja Storm series. I suppose Cyber Connect 2 just really wants to test and see if 360 owners will still buy the 360 version anyways or will all of the sales just go to the PS3 version.

I think it looks great and difinitely getting it on PS3 because liked the 1st game.

When I first heard that it was going to 360, I was disappointed due to the fact that the quality of the game might drop or some things might be cut due to the DVD format. However, after seeing the trailer, the game still looks good and I can't wait to get it for PS3 for whenever it comes out.

As for it going to 360, from what I heard it was because of the fact that Ubisoft lost the right/licenses to make Naruto games exclusively for the 360. Since Bandai Namco is a third party company and are in it to make money, they decided to make it multi-platform.

Well Namco doesn't always bring everything multiplat probably only just the ones they think would sell no matter what console it's on. I'm quite surprised that Namco won't release Ultimate Ninja 5 to the states.

The 1 thing I didn't like about the 1st game was that after doing the mandatory 4-5GB download it will still take forever on the loading screens.

Since this is Namco and it also being on 360 probably have some dlc and may even have to pay for it this time around unlike the 1st game where you just download a bunch of characters that were actually keys to unlock them in the game and were all free.

There's probably some compression like maybe it'll only be lossy 5.1 or 2.0 Dolby Digital audio. Plus we all know that trailers usually only show the best looking scenes in the game.

I was waiting for Ultimate Ninja 5 to come out, only to find out that they are only releasing it in Europe. Apparently it was because the PS2 is dying here in the States and hardly any games are released on it nowadays for Bandai Namco to release it here. I was very disappointed that the game I have been waiting for since Japanese release is never coming here. *Sigh* Sucks that I and everyone here in the States don't get to play Ultimate Ninja 5.

And yea, the mandatory install sucked and seem pointless so I hope there won't be any of those in this game. Only if it REALLY reduce load times. The load times in the first game, mainly for the story mode were terrible and took forever.

Everything else, you are probably right.

:r ock:

THIS IS AWESOME news, I loved the first game and yeah the load times were outrageous, but overall it's one of the most In-Depth 3d Fighters I've ever played, I havent seen naythin glike this game, and the specials and everything made this game thye best fighter(yeah I'm saying it) I've played since Tekken 4/Soul Calibur 4.

I'm sad about the 360 release as well but, I'm getting over that cause in terms of money I would release multiplatform too, It's just buisness I don't think its any thing more or less.

Hey Richie-Kun or MoonPhase any known release dates, and th emost important question of alll........

Will this time they actually add online capabilities?
