My Denon AVR-1604, how much? - Blu-ray Forum

I want to sell my older Denon AVR-1604 surround sound receiver. I paid about $600 CAN for it about 5 years ago. Still works excellent and is in fantastic shape. I want to get a new receiver with the HD sound formats.

Anyways, how much do you guys think I could get for this. I was thinking about $160-$180, is that out of line?

I'd say you might snag it between 100-160...

Fact is most people can now get TrueHd/Dts-HDma receivers for dirt cheap even from this time last year.

So as each day passes it'll go down more and more.

1 thing that helps if you have the box, manuals exc.

I tried to look for it on google and came up with nothing same on ebay. Maybe its cause I'm in the US but search those sites and see what its going for that should give you a good idea what you'll get.

Honestly though, probably around 80-100. I highly doubt anyone would spend over $100 on a 5 year old receiver. You can get some great deals on receivers these days...
