Default Interrupted Signal on HDTV?

I bought a 46" Samsung LCD (LN46B550) a couple of months ago.

Now, there's this thing that has happened a couple of times during a game and a movie (PlayStation 3).

During the game incident, I was playing for a little while and out of where I lost the signal, as if the cables got unplugged, showing the "No Signal" or "No Device" message on the screen. I had to flip through a couple of sources and got back to the HDMI channel and it worked fine then.

While watching the movie, the same thing happened except the signal returned after a brief moment. I didn't need to exit and return to the source to make it work again.

I've checked all the cables. Nothing's loose or incorrectly inserted.

What could be causing these random signal losses?

This is how I have it set up;

- HDMI cable runs from PS3 to receiver/amplifier.
- A second HDMI cable runs from the receiver/amplifier to the TV (it's for a 5.1 audio system).

Again, this has only happened a couple of times but it's still annoying and somewhat concerning.

All the equipment is new, by the way.
