I'd like to suggest to WB that Blu-ray editions of the Scott/Boetticher films would be most highly desired. Scott retired with a string of classic films book-ended by the classics "7 Men from Now" and "Ride the High Country".
1956 7 Men from Now (Budd Boetticher) 7th Cavalry (Joseph H. Lewis) 1957 The Tall T (Budd Boetticher) Shoot-Out at Medicine Bend (Richard Bare) Decision at Sundown (Budd Boetticher) 1958 Buchanan Rides Alone (Budd Boetticher) 1959 Westbound (Budd Boetticher) Ride Lonesome (Budd Boetticher) 1960 Comanche Station (Budd Boetticher) 1962 Ride the High Country (Sam Peckinpah) |

I would love to see some Scott westerns!
Maybe 'The Spoilers' with John Wayne. |

I hope not...it would make my now-rare and very valuable Scott/Boetticher set irrelevant
![]() I would, however, welcome a blu joint release of Coroner Creek and The Walking Hills. Btw, a great, seldom-seen Scott film is the 1952 gem Hangman's Knot, costarring Lee Marvin, Donna Reed, and awesome character actor Ray Teal. I highly recommend it. |
