Descent Part 2 straight to DVD - Blu-ray Forum

Looks like a straight to DVD release. Amazon lists an April 27th Lions Gate release for the DVD but no info. for the Blu-ray. In the UK the blu-ray will be available April 12.

I liked the first one, lets hope the sequel holds up.

I heard nothing but bad things about this movie. The story itself sounds stupid from reading reviews. But I love horror so I will see for myself

Hope it goes straight to $10 Blu Ray at Walmart too.

(And.. hope it's worth watching.)

BTW -- The UK Release Is By Pathe Distribution (A Subsidary of 20th Century Fox). The Disc Will Most Likely Be Region Locked.

If it's a straight to DVD flick by Lionsgate, then it might not get a Blu-ray release anytime soon here in the U.S. Lionsgate shafted us on Cabin Fever 2 and Blood Creek, which Blood Creek did go theatrical, albeit to the dollar theaters like Midnight Meat Train. Lionsgate seems to be focusing on the catalog titles like Cabin Fever, Near Dark, etc.

my expectations for this movie are SOOOOOOO LOW there's no way I can be disappointed.

What? The 2nd movie never been released in theaters??

The first movie has to be in my top 3-5 Horror movies of all time.
