PCM soundtrack is another flawless victory

"PCM once again takes relatively low rent comedy to a place previously unimaginable even from the new lossy sound encodings of 640kbps DD and 1.5mbs DD+. Before BD’s support of uncompressed sound and its degree of transparency to the masters, I never would have guessed a film such as this could have a sound design so detailed and immensely satisfying. Outside of your big budget action extravaganzas you just don’t hear such lush sonics theatrically, from DVD, nor even on HD DVD. Not every film has been as aurally captivating, but this isn’t the first time I’ve been mesmerized by the PCM delivery of a movie on BD that you wouldn’t generally expect much attention be given the sound design. I was elated at what I heard, even during the animated Pink Panther-esque opening credits.

The openness of the stage, the amazing clarity, and fairly complete use of the entire sound field can even put many a TrueHD track to shame. I could list more TrueHD tracks than not, that I’ve heard on HD DVD that left me wanting having heard the sonic might and extraordinary clarity of PCM on BD. Of course Dolby has demonstrated that compressed lossless, TrueHD can perform on the same level. They just haven’t demonstrated such outside of more grandiose sound designs to me yet. Where PCM has frequently made seemingly simple sound designs, seem much more extraordinary. Such is again the case here"

Enjoy it my friends and who can still hesitate and say BD is not the future of High Definition unless it is completely blind and dont wanna see the facts but follow the Complete FUD
