Standalone Players or Drives? - Blu-ray Forum

Hey guys, I'm just noticing alot of you have PS3s and was wondering whats the best type of player for Blu Ray? Or are they all the same? Like I'm building a HTPC and if I install a Pioneer blu-ray drive will it be the same quality as a PS3 or standalone player? The HTPC will be connected to a HDTV via a HDMI cable through the GFX card.

some stand alones are better than others, for the price ps3 dominants with all the extra features you get.
