I own the five film collection but it seems pointless to buy this as we know another will be coming.

That's what I was wondering. I know the new one is doing great at the box office and seems to be getting very favorable reviews from long time fans.

It seems like the next installment is inevitable.

This set seems pretty reasonably priced though.

It’s worth it if you haven’t previously bought the films for sure.

There was a long gap between this new film and the last one. Even if it did well at the BO there's no guarantee more films will be made. In any case, I'm waiting for a full 4K collection to replace my patchwork quilt of different releases.

I'll probably wait on 4k as well, but there's no way they don't pump out another one after the huge success of this one.

this may be slightly off topic, but the first 3 minutes of Jurassic Park: Rebirth seemed like the beginning of a very interesting Final Destination and Alien mashup. Most people hated that scene, and I agree it was atonally off from the rest of the film, but the setup could have been from a FD film. Combining FD with a creature seemed an interesting concept to me.

Any way, I do hope they continue with the series. I really thought this last one was surprisingly one of the stronger entries, which is unusual for a 6 film franchise.

I just got this today! It had a slip, which kind of surprised me. I really like the cover art. I have never watched one of these films so I'm looking forward to a marathon.

That's what I was curious about. I am aware that the new film is doing exceptionally well at the box office and appears to be receiving very favorable reviews from devoted fans. It seems like the next installment is inevitable.
However, the price of this set appears to be quite reasonable.

Oh that would be so much fun. If you have any phobias, expect to see them in the films at some point.

Haha that's true. Like a Rube Goldberg machine that ends with releasing the Kraken.

Exactly, so just buy individually.

Oh, but if I did that for every franchise that may or may not get a sequel one day, the space on my shelf wouldn’t be very happy. Fair enough though.

Does anyone know if this version includes the anaglyph 3D version of The Final Destination?

All Blu-ray discs are red colored and uniform. I don't know if that means they've been newly pressed or not but aesthetically it's pleasing.

All discs get their own holder, though the grip isn't great.
