Whats this then? you have bitstream direct and bitstream mix under BD video settings whats the difference.

the way I (read) understand is it only affects Optical connection?

...I assume its a workaround to include commentary on a bitstream track, since Optical is not really restricted by HDCP and compressed so plenty of room? just guessing.

hey Solar, been a busy fella. My little boy is crawling and trying to walk, so he gets into EVERYTHING! So my free time is taken up a lot now...I usually only get a few free moments here and there.

It's for secondary audio. From AVS:

I noticed the quality of the audio is significantly worse when set to mix. I assume this is because the PS3 has to process more.
