Hello all,
I am looking for some assistance with a problem my mother in laws TV is having. I actually had a local TV service place pick it up last week and they had it for 3 days and could not replicate the issue so we got no help. Symptoms The TV will work fine for days. There is no issue with the picture. All of a sudden the TV will go into Standby mode. If you let it sit long enough, the pic will come back on and then again may work for days or even a week or 10 days. I know it is not the bulb because I had 2 new bulbs on hand and the issue occurs with the new bulbs in place. Could this be a color wheel issue? Will a failing color wheel put the TV in standby mode? Anyone out there seen this issue or and provide any suggestions it would be much appreciated. Last edited by Vorhees13; 08-03-2010 at 05:09 PM. |
