Default Zellers - Toy Story 1 and 2 $19.99 each

Latest Zellers flyer has TS1 and TS2 for $19.99. If they accept the $10 coupons that makes them $10 bucks each. Not bad!

I bought these at $24.99 earlier in the week. Anyone know if Zellers has a price-protection policy?

Think it's possible to buy from Zellers, take their tags off and swap it at Walmart/BB/FS and say you didnt realize you bought the DVD case yesterday, all the while forgetting the receipt???

I'll have to try a different Zellers I guess than because it wasn't just the zellers employee that told me it was a pricing error. The one I went to had a sign posted up on the flyer and at the customer service desk which said it was a pricing error.

Hmm...i went to the Zellers in Delta today and went right to the customer service department...i had grabbed a flyer from the front and asked her if they would price adjust for something i bought 3 days ago, and she said sure. So i showed her the flyer and my receipt and she put the credit back onto my visa. It's weird they would say it's a pricing error, cause that would indicate 3 pricing errors in the same ad. First the regular price being $24.99, then the sale price of $19.99, and finally the trade and save price of $14.99.

Hi everyone. I work at a Zellers so we receive all of these correction notices on a company "portal" website when we first open our browser. I can get you a copy of what the text says, at least for the one on our website. Whether the employees have been given something different, I'm not sure, as I work in the pharmacy and am kind of left in the dark regarding anything going on in the rest of the store.

I'll update when I get in as I'm interested in picking these up as well.

*** Update ***
Sorry guys looks like it's changed:
Please note pricing for this offer is incorrect the offer should read "Toy Story 1 & 2 Blue Ray DVD Combo Pack, Reg $29.99 Sale$ 24.99 with Trade & Save $19.99

You may still find a store that hasn't seen this but most stores are pretty quick...

If the notice isn't posted and the sale sign is still up (as is the case in my store) you can try and argue it down. At least our store has a policy that if a sale sign is up, even if it's from like 3 months ago, you need to give them the sale price. I haven't tried here as A) I'm working and b) feels kind of unethical considering I work here...

went to my local Zellers with the receipts. Girl at CS counter told me they were still ringing up at $24.99. Told her to check the flyer, she did, and gave me back my $5 on each movie plus taxes.

Glad I got in there before they mentioned anything about a price error!

Went to Zellers today, was able to get Toy Story 1 & 2 Blu-ray edition cases for $19.99 each plus Disney coupon, total came to ~$35 for both, what a deal! Plus free tickets to see Toy Story 3, so it actually cost me about ~$20 for both. At BB both are ~$60.

My friend went to Bestbuy and had them PM it, and with the upgrade coupons..only $9.99 each movie. Thanks Thomas! Plus they come with free movie tickets. It's like getting the TS1 and 2 for free!

Got mine too after. Glad I hid the last copy of each before work. I figured they had more to put out but when I checked later any and all references to Toy Story had been removed and replaced with boxes of Ponyo...
Never got them down to 19.99 but 24.99 - employee discount - $10 coupon - $5 trade and save left me at $18.00 even (incl HST) for the two. Considering they both include the $11 ticket I made $4 profit

Figured I should mention as well. Those that used trade and save on both titles to save $10 and used 80,000 points: this is really nothing special, they just market it to catch your eye. 80,000 can really get you $10 off anything you want as that's what a $10 gift card at customer service will cost you.

Only thing unique is if you were buying just the one you could save $5 where $10 gift cards are the smallest you can buy with points.

Just to let you know I went to Zellers today (28th) and got my $5.00 back for each movie. No mention of a pricing error. So each movie cost me $19.99 each for a blu ray case plus I was able to use the $10.00 DMR coupon for each movie. Total cost for both movies now is $24.78 plus I have the two free tickets to see Toy Story 3. The movie tickets in Wpg. are worth $9.95 each, so these movies in actuality cost me $4.88 for both. Sick.

i've noticed that many of the Zellers in Toronto are sold out... i got both movies today for $25.18 from Wal-Mart, here's what i did

Print out your $10 off coupons online

Drop by a Zellers and see if they have them in stock, if they do, buy them, if they don't, pick up a flyer.

Visit a nearby Wal-Mart, they are the regular $29.83 there, so most likely they wont be sold out, ask them to price match from the flyer, then give them the coupons.

Congratulation! Toy Story and Toy Story 2 for $9.99 each!
