Blu-ray menus - Blu-ray Forum

Does anyone here know anything about creating menus for blu-ray?

I work on films and TV shows for DVD and usually supply moving menus as quicktimes and buttons as indexed colour tiffs. I know there are greater possibilities for blu-ray, such as menus that appear while the film is playing etc etc.

Can these be supplied as quicktimes with an alpha channel?
Any input appreciated!!

well thats not up to the format but the authoring applications that one uses.

if you're using a text(or maybe hex)-editor and know some internals for the format, you can probably use quicktimes or slowtimes or generate the images on the fly even.
if not, you can probably still do all those things, you'd just have to wait for someone to release the right tools for it.
