got that email too. I saw it instore for 54 or 59, but its still 49 on the bb site. so basically it's 39.99 for the trilogy. pretty good deal

and GO CANUCKS!!

Thanks for the heads up Rees! Is the 800 on top of the normal points one would get for the purchase?

I feel like everyday something tempts me to buy this set...

I was very tempted to take Best Buy up on this one. That was a huge bonus reward, and it was time for me to finally stop borrowing LOTR and buy a box set. As I mentioned in another thread, the entire package including bonus features is always the main determining factor for me. I decided not to wait for the inevitable super BD box set of this and went with the much-reduced-in-price Extended Edition box set. I know I'm missing those lovely new visuals, but I decided to sit this one out despite the great incentives to buy. Hopefully someone will lend me their BDs of the theatrical versions so I can see what I'm missing.

actually 250 points is a $5 coupon. I know this I used a $15 coupon to get my Blu's of LOTR.

In Canada 400 points is a $5 coupon (you are in the Canadian deals section)
