My Ipod earphone jack broke! - Blu-ray Forum

I went to use my Ipod and plugged my Klipsch earphones in and they only play out of the right side. It's not my earphones, i tried them in another device and no prob. I can't afford a new Ipod classic right now.

My queston is, do they make earphones that can be plugged into the wide docking jack?

I'm sure it would be expensive for an Apple dealer to fix it.

i read this on the ilounge forums about how you could either fix it yourself or:

Even worse, it won't even sync with Itunes. I think my Ipod is dead.

Been wanting to get a 160 GB classic anyway.

Love my 160GB Classic. The only problem I have with mine is it hiccups in between tracks sometimes. I'll take a few seconds to load a song. It's been dropped twice is why.
