ok two questions i see Icon had just released Rogue on Bluray https://www.blu-ray.com/movies/Rogue-Blu-ray/6465/

dose any one have it or have a link I would like to hear some feed back on the PQ on this release.

also
I see Warner is releasing Friday the 13th (1980) on bluray in UK.
are they any details on this will compare to paramount release in terms of PQ/AQ and extras

OK found some details for Rogue

The PQ is awesome on this one. And it plays fine on Region A PS3.
But something is really weird. You can't play the special features. Some message pops up saying you can't play them followed by a long number starting with nr 8. like this (869405462)

Anyone know why this is got another import Blu ray that says this. Anyone know why it can't play the special features for some of the import titles?

Probably PAL extras, which cannot be played on Region A players.

Depends on the Studio. PAL extras mostly appear on movies done by smaller studios and not the major studios (Fox, Paramount, Uni, etc).

Definately PAL extras on Rogue

I had to turn it off... sneaky huge killer creatures freak me out. Gonna try again this weekend :lol:

It's just awful that you know something is in the water but can't see beyond the surface... URK!!

I've just ordered Rogue from Zavvi, I have been meaning to check this movie out. Looking forward to this blu-ray arriving, as I am a big fan of Jaws 1 & 2, and Alligator.

The movie is awesome and the PQ is very good on this one. So you will not be disappointed with this

But i had no idea that PAL extras can't be played on a Region A player. That really does suck

dose any one have the info on the friday 13th 1980 blu-ray from warner what are the specs for the disk's audio and extras

went with the uk version of friday the 13th in the end
disk comes with a downloadable digital copy which exp in on 19/10/10
the disk uses the vc-1 codec and has all the same extras as the us disk.
so if you pick up friday parts 1-3 in the uk you get
Lost tales from camp blood part 1 twice on firday part 1 and part 2.
