Default Those of you with big BD collections, do you keep them in any kind of order?

Those of you with big BD collections, do you alphabetize or arrange your BDs by genre? As far as my BDs go, its pretty mixed, I have specific director sections, some genre sections and some are in no order at all. For Example..... Superhero movies, Tarantino movies, westerns, Criterion BDs, Kubrick movies etc etc.

Do you keep your dvds and/or BDs in any kind of order?

Alphabetical.

I have enough now that I will begin going by genre(horror, drama, comedy, etc.) soon like my DVD's.

I'm moving tomorrow...they're in a box in random order. Maybe I'll go crazy and put them back in my media cabinet in the same random order.

I try to keep them in alpha order, but they are in total chaos right now due to some work I had to get done in my office recently. They block the electrical panel which houses the central point to electricity, cable internet, and satellite TV. I was having issues with my cable interent and the tech had to get to the junction point. I've been too busy to put them all back on the shelves.

But to your original question, alphabetical.

I have done it many different ways & that includes stacking them to the ceiling

Right now they are Tril. on top shelf . Favorites on 2nd shelf . The rest on the 3rd shelf . Space & Planet BD's on the 4th shelf .

Mostly genre and sub-genres and in each of those section they are either alphanumeric or chronologically (if sequels) so for example The dark knight is not under D but right after Batman Begins under B in the comic book/game type movie section. The only exceptions are un-seen (movies I bough but I have not seen that copy yet or collection/TVs where I have not finished going through them) which are sorted by play time (except for TV series) and fancy box which are on the top shelf and mixed
