Default Not getting 120hz to my LCD TV from PC
I recently bought a Sony 32" 1080p 120hz LCD. I tested my PC on it and I can only select 59hz or 60hz for 1920x1080. There is no 120hz option in the refresh rate settings of the resolution properties in the Nvidia Control Panel. I thought that 120hz was the refresh rate of this TV. Is 120hz just the motionflow thing on this TV and not the refresh rate? I tried motionflow and it doesn't work consistently, it glass smooth then judders for a 1 or 2 seconds then glass smooth again on a DVD I was watching. I also heard that motionflow causes input lag so I disabled motionflow. Did I waste money on 120hz if I don't want to use motionflow? How do I know I'm getting 120hz refresh rate?
