Warner will be releasing DC's The Sandman Season One on Blu-ray and 4K UHD on November 28th!. It will include all 11 episodes of the first season, plus 2 featurettes. It will also have Dolby Atmos audio. The show originally aired on Netflix.

Really looking forward to this release. I went into the show quite sceptical, but it was surprisingly good and looked *gorgeous*.
I'm quite shocked to see that they'd actually started filming season 2 in June, but suspended because of the strike. I had thought that season 2, while talked about, might never actually happen. Heres hoping they do actually continue with this once the strikes are over and it doesn't get cancelled like a lot of other shows have in the fallout. |

Was excited as this just showed up on my doorstep.
Then I took a glance at the cast on IMDB and made a joke to myself, 'wow, looks like that series got the Netflix treatment'. Then of course I realized, that was because it actually was a Netflix show. After having just finished all the books I of course have a mental image of all the characters - so Death will be the most jarring to watch. That said, buddy who plays Dream also isn't quite what I had envisioned either. On the plus side I would watch Jenna Coleman in an infomercial. Looking forward to spinning it up tonight... |
