Its a game thats a lot of fun for sure, but its nothing TOO special. I'd say it falls under the same category as Halo does on 360.

Sure its a lot of fun when judged on its own merits, but does get overhyped to the point of fanboy ridiculousness.

But yeah, its a fun game and if u like FPS you should enjoy it.

Its way less nubby, although when I played they had this extreme speed thing where you could run around and get kills with a nade launcher, but overall aside from that it actually requires some skill and time to get good at you can't just pick it up and knife 20 people or run around with a shotgun and get 10-30 kills which is great.

or you can't pick up a gun hold the trigger down and get a ton of kills you need to manage you're bullets and learn how to tap the fire button so you get quality shots and don't burn through ammo.

GREAT ONLINE!

Killzone 2 is one of the best console shooters available. Both the single player and multiplayer campaigns are fantastic. It's well worth the pick up, especially with Killzone 3 coming down the pipeline.

How well do the difficulty settings stack up against other games? I actually installed this last night, and didn't get to play. It came with my Slim last winter, and I thought I'd give it a shot for a while in light of the KZ3 announcement. I don't generally play FPS games of this style and don't play MP games. Compare the difficulty settings to, say, Uncharted or Bioshock games or Dead Space.

How long is the SP campaign?

It's pretty awesome, It lacks a little bit of inventivness and but it's really fun, I really liked it.

Plus I still think it has the best graphics on the system, even better than Uncharted 2

Great game. I will warn that online multiplayer has a steep learning curve. At least for me it did. Just don't get frustrated at first.

I'd say on par with Bioshock 1 in terms of easy even the hard wasn't very hard where this game is harder on hard, but on normal settings you should do fine.

The game is a graphical powerhouse. And it plays decent. One of the best shooters out there. Not the best but far from the worst. A little overhyped thats all.

I played on hard until near the end which just handed me my ass over and over again.. Luckily you can switch difficulties mid campaign.

IMO a fantastic campaign that only suffers in a bit of lack of variety. Some of the effects and graphics still blow me away.. Shooting out windows with all the little pieces of glasses (best I've seen in a fps). Lighting is fantastic, gunplay is the best in a fps hands down.

You can switch difficulty level mid-campaign? Crap! I didn't think that was possible. I've been stuck at the very end of the single player campaign forever. I'll have to check that out.

And for the record, Killzone is anything but terrible. If you're a fan of shooters, it's a must have title on PS3.

I like Killzone 2 more than Modern Warfare 2. It's one of my fav FPS. But the end is a beeeyotch. You will die multiple times.

So many times that by the end, you will have the pattern memorized and will be able to beat it in your sleep.
