Default PlayStation Move Charging Station and Shooting Attachment

PlayStation Move “Charging Station” – By utilizing the “charging station,” users will be able to charge up to two PlayStation Move controllers, motion controller or the navigation controller, at once without having to connect them to the PS3 system. The “charging station” will become available concurrently with the motion controller launch in each region at a RRP of €29.99, US$29.99 and 2,480 yen (including tax), respectively.

PlayStation Move “Shooting Attachment” – The “shooting attachment,” designed to place the PlayStation Move motion controller horizontally, will allow players to hold the motion controller as if they are holding a gun and to easily aim at an in-game target. The trigger on the attachment is interlocked with the motion controller T button and will enable users to intuitively play the game, not only limited to shooting games but also on games that may require precise button input and control. It will deliver immersive gameplay and will work perfectly with software titles like The Shoot by SCE and Time Crisis: Raging Storm by Bandai Namco Games Inc. which is expected to support the attachment. The “shooting attachment” will become available starting this fall in each region at a RRP of €14.99, US$19.99 and 1,480 yen (including tax), respectively.

This looks cooler than the Move Gun.

But useless for Move games (and uncomfortable for regular dual stick shooters by the looks of it)

Well it looks like I will be picking up some new toys! I didn't get to see the Sony conference today but heard some of the pricing. Did they mention a bundle of Move and Eye? If so, how much? Thanks in advance.

That gun thing looks cool, my nephew would love it, what games support it? The shoot, DS Extraction, Time Crisis are sure bets, anything else?

At least they don't look cheap, so that's a positive

Some of the accessories for the wii are laughable.

You can bet that Sony will also put out many ridiculous peripherals as well. Have to make that money somehow!

If the Move charges with the same Mini-USB port that the SixAxis does, then the charging station is a waste of time and energy. I've got a pile of mini-USB -> USB wires and an 8-port USB hub.

The gun shell, on the other hand, looks cool and appears to be practical as well. Might be worth getting.

How would the gun work thought if the trigger if not connected to any buttons? Is it just used for aiming or can you actually shoot with it?

Looks great though.

magic!

nah, it's basically just a copy of the Wii remote (but can be used with good games) so it has a trigger at the bottom and I assume that's what the actual trigger on the gun is pressing.

The gun does look pretty nifty though

@icemage: they are charged via mini usb

The EXT port on the bottom of the controller next to the mini-USB could hook up for other functions.

wow really? sigh. I don't want to be a troll, so I will keep my opinions of the move in general to myself. however couldn't they design it better?

I mean that ridiculous bulb at the end. It looks like the gun is blowing a bubble.

oh well, no one is forcing me to buy it so no biggie I guess. If you guys get it and it is cool more power to you.

The glowing ball is how the Playstation Eye tracks the Move controller.

that assault rifle could be cool in a fps but i may be missing something, how would you move your character and get full control of him with both hands on the rifle?

There are analog nubs on the rifle somewhere. I believe there is one on the back of the pistol grip.
