Default Missing 4-year old found 24 hours later at carwash 70 miles away...

As a parent these stories just wreck me. It's literally my worst fear. This girl was grabbed from her front yard where she was playing with her 5-year old brother. The brother gave a good enough description of the car that people noticed it more than a day and 70 miles later.

Girl was found and is back with her family.

To me there is no criminal worse than a child abductor. I just do not get it.

That brother is awesome for being able to help catch the people who did this.

I hope they throw the book at the people who took the kid.

Sad that parents can't let a child play in their front yard.

This is AMAZING news. I am so happy she was found ok and is back with her family. Hopefully, they do find the creep that did this and really throw the book at him. This story really wrecked me a bit. I am just happy she is home safe.

The great thing is that little boy gave a great description of the car and the guy in it. I bet this ends badly for the kidnapper. As it should!!

So many of these stories end up badly. I'm glad to hear of one that didn't.

From what I've read, child molesters and the like are on the bottom tier of the prison social hierarchy, so he'll probably be killed.

Somebody took my little girl I'd go all Mel Gibson on their ass, and not the drunk, jew hating Mel Gibson either, more like the painted up long haired faux scottish head chopper Mel.

I totally agree. Child molesters or abductors should be given automatic life imprisonment. Throw the book at them.
As you'll hear from interviews with molesters they have uncontrolled urges to commit these vile acts. So they're bound to become repeat offenders once they get out of prison.

Any crimes against kids should have severe penalties, after all in one thoughtless act a childs innocence is destroyed. That can't ever be repaired completely

I could go on and on but you get the picture.

maybe its a different kind of society in Denmark but you if you allow your two young children who are 4 & 5 to play outside unintended you're asking for trouble.

Yeah I agree. I don't "blame" their parents for the kidnapping, but they didn't help the situation by leaving the kids to play unattended.

And the "if you're that protective, you're letting the scum of the earth win" argument is ridiculous. I am not here to test the scum of the earth with my kids to see if the scum will kidnap my kids. I'd rather make it a non-issue by a) watching them, or b) letting them play in my fenced-in backyard if I'm too lazy to play with them.

Most prisons house prisoners of child related crimes separately for this exact reason.

Maybe I'm naive then, but I guess its been 10-15 years since the last child abduction here.. Theres a bigger chance that my kid will get hit by a meteor here and thats a chance I'm willing to take..

It doesn't take a person 30 seconds to abduct a child and that would just be surveillance IMO..

I guess it depends on where you live/culture

They are. But the problem is that they're coddled and put in solitary where the rest of the population can't get to them.
