Is the Quantum of Solace Definitive still coming out? - Blu-ray Forum

Is the Quantum of Solace Definitive Edition still coming out? It's still listed on highdefdigest.com for release on July 28th. I haven't heard or seen a thing in a long while about this double dip. I would think that if it were still a go we would have some cover art or something.

From what I recall it was listed for Australia or someplace and no, it was not anything more than what has already been released.

I'm sure that is in limbo just like rest of the Bond films and Bond #23

This could have been delayed to tie-in with the remake of Goldeneye 007 for the Nintendo Wii. Daniel Craig and Judi Dench are starring in the video game which features a new story but familar set pieces from the Nintendo 64 version.

I don't think there has been any delay, because it has always been slated for 28th July, which is a Wednesday, and neither the UK or the US have Blu-rays or DVDs come out on that day.

As some one has already said, it appears to be an Austrailian 2-Disc DVD, which is the same as the original Blu-ray/DVD set, and comes out on 28th July. What seems to have happened is that someone mixed the Australian release with news from last year where director Marc Forster said that there maybe a Definitive Edition. But sadly it seems like just another false rumour, so it's neither coming out in the UK or the US.
