Default PS3 audio sync issue

Got my ps3 outputting video through hdmi at 24p.

Analog audio out from ps3 to receiver.

Audio is now slightly out of sync. I''m guessing this is due to the crappy analog out right?

Maybe I should get a receiver with hdmi or optical audio inputs ??

LG 50pk950

When I put video and audio through hdmi to the tv, the audio is in sync.

I'm guessing the delay issue is with the analog audio out, which as far as I know cannot be solved?

Not sure if this'll work on your TV but if you look on page 107 of your user manual there's an option where you can make adjustments to the "Sync", up to half a second. Might be worth a try.
