My Blu-ray of THX 1138 will not play on my Panasonic. It will play on my PS3.
It shows the WHV logo and the loading disc then it just goes to the blu logo screen. Anyone else have this issue? |

I am also experiencing this problem. I have the Panasonic BD85K and the THX1138 Blu-ray starts to load, shows the Warner Brothers logo, then quits to the function menu. I tried it numerous times. I have not tried it on my PS3 yet. I called Amazon and they are sending me a replacement. I'll be curious to see if the next one does the same thing.

Jeff, thanks! It turns out after I put an SD card in the slot, the movie loaded fine. So, do we classify this as an authoring problem? Should I really have to have a memory card in the slot for just one movie? Except for THX 1138, the rest of my blu-ray collebtion plays fine without the card. I haven't seen anything online from Panasonic about this. Will The Digital Bits post something?
