I bought the DVD for a friend recently and it made me realize how much I loved the movie. It has to be the funniest comedy I have ever seen. I would like to see it on Blu, any one else.

soon as i get my blu player which will b very soon. i will b a blu-a-holic but i will buy this first day. i just want 1-2 not the third that sucked even by my standards and i like almost anything.

I would love to see Beautiful Brigitte Nielsen in Hi-Def!

and that part when they go to the Playboy Mansion was cool also.

and I think part 3 was the weakest of the BHC films IMO.

but 1 and 2 are cool!

Yet another series I would like to own someday on blu. Haven't heard anything about them being released anytime soon, so I would say hang on to them for now unless you don't really watch them.

It seems making a copy and getting rid of them is more wise....I was hoping for 2010 release...

Yeah...just read wikipedia and if it is true....fourth installment is slated for 2012 release...may have to wait for blus till then.

Yeah, I bet Paramount will hold them off until part 4 is released.

I am watching Beverly Hills Cop 1 on upconverted dvd right now and the transfer actually hold up really well. If they do decide to release this on blu I think it will actually come out great. Now what they decide to do about the grain is their bussiness

Haven't heard anything but I'd imagine a Blu-ray of the first film would either be very grainy or DNR'd to oblivion.
