Default James Horner: Favorite Scores?

Given the tragic passing of a great film composer, I felt it necessary to create this thread in his memory. He is credited with 112 scores on Wikipedia, but including them all in the poll would be crazy...so I've listed what I feel are his most popular, plus an "other" option.

Let's hear it - what are your personal favorites, and why? (don't forget the second part; I really want to know).

My faves:
Aliens
The new world
Beyond Borders (listening to the end credit music as an usher at a movie theater would make me cry)
House of sand and fog

(Oh braveheart is on the list twice)

It works within the movie, although as is the case with a lot of Horner scores, it reminded me at times of his music from 48 Hrs. He was good at that though. The Amazing Spider-Man had motifs from A Beautiful Mind which itself referenced Bicentennial Man. But you know what? The music complimented each film, even if it sounded familiar.

Titanic is a given. Commando and 48hrs. both rocking island beats is awesome.

But my personal favorite is Legends of the Fall.

My absolute favorite is Land Before Time. When I hear that score I can remember being 4 and sitting on the floor watching it on my family's 19 inch tv with the Pizza Hut commercial in front of it and all. After that I'd say Cocoon because I remember my parents not only loving the movie, but they would play the soundtrack quite often. Those two just take me back. I lost my dad a few years ago, so it's nice being able to listen to some of Horner's work and just remember some good times.

If I were to rank them, my top 5 would be

1. Land Before Time
2. Cocoon
3. Glory
4. Titanic
5. Wrath of Khan/Field of Dreams

Hocus Pocus! He didn't do the whole movie, but he wrote Sarah's Theme which is great.

How the hell is Apollo 13 not on the list? My favourite JH score without doubt because it compliments the movie beautifully, it's not there to go "feel this way NOW" as the movie is tense and thrilling and uplifting as it is, but with the support of the score it all goes up a notch and I cry every time when they emerge from splashdown.

I second this. Should take the place of the duplicate Braveheart.

For me, Field of Dreams.

If you're reading this, do yourself a favor and listen to this.
