Hi all would like some advice on any of my Gundam Blurays I Should Buy/Upgrade or add to make my sets here is what I Have complete with country of origin

Maybe you will want to add Char's Counterattack and F91 UHD Japan?

- Mobile Suit Gundam (has episode 15)
- 08th MS Team (original 2.0 Surround)
- Zeta (original opening and ending themes)

Japanese release of
- Mobile Suit Gundam SEED (no glitched frames)

There are more Japanese Gundam releases with English subtitles that you could consider picking up just for the better encodes.

Char's Counterattack and F91 UHD have no English subs so I dought it

The UK version of seed doesn't have glitched frames only the USA version is glitched I asked Anime LTD before ordering it.
I am how ever considering 08th MS Team UC version
I don't find zeta for the op endings and Gundam for 1 episode very cost effective

SEED UK BD has glitched/corrupted frames in several episodes. I own the UK UE.

If you want everything with Seed, I would recommend picking up the Nozomi Ultra Edition which contains the HD Broadcast version (sellers on eBay may have it). The Stargazer Limited Edition Blu-ray from Japan contains the Astray shorts. Also, there are the remastered Special Edition OVAs of Seed and Destiny only available in Japan.

Can you point me towards these releases? Are they part of a larger Seed/Seed Destiny box sets?

Different issue. The issue with the original US discs was that they used the broadcast version of the HD Remaster.

The revised US discs, that were also used for the UK release, use the home video version of the HD Remaster, but has corrupted frames in several episodes.

No, the remastered special edition ovas are a separate release from the Complete Boxes.

Would like to add the 0083 U.C./2020 JPBD for fixing the corrupted frame in. episode 12

Agree on getting the Char's Counterattack UHD or 2018 JPBD since it uses a better remaster, but the F91 4K remaster has excessive DNR (especially compared to Char's Counterattack) for who knows what reason, so stick with releases that use the older remaster

The SteelBooks likely sold out. SteelBooks or anything in metal packaging=Limited

They may be planning to release a standard edition later.

Not really recommended. The already nearly non existent grain that could be only very slightly seen in motion on the Japanese blu ray releases (not really on the US version), is just fully flattened out. The HDR doesn't provide any new details in highlights either. For Char's Counter Attack it's a give and take situation but not worth the upgrade in my view.

Basically if he wants upgrades he should upgrade what's available to the Japanese UC Libraries collection releases. Most if not all are noticeably better up close in terms of grain visibility, and in some cases have significant less encoding issues such as with First Gundam (tv series).

Hard disagree for Char's Counterattack, the old scan is blasted with horrible exposure & chromatic abberation, the new scan (while has its own issues of being slightly rushed given the vertical smearing on some frames) is far superior in every way: https://slow.pics/c/J09fBs0o

F91 does suck though, that has actual bad DNR, so stick with the old BD for that

Sold out? But they just came out a few months ago.

That's lame. I really hate Crunchyroll and their exclusive bullshit.
